Father of India's Green Revolution, M. S. Swaminathan, passes away at 98

Dr. Swaminathan, often hailed as the main architect of the Green Revolution in India, breathed his last at 11:20 a.m. in Chennai, where he had dedicated his life to advancing agricultural science. Born on August 7, 1925, his legacy is marked by decades of tireless work to transform India's agricultural landscape.
